Sploot Dog Grooming FAQs

Terms & Conditions

Holidays: Sploot has provisions for its groomers to take leave(s) during festivals (such as Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, etc.), personal emergencies, and illnesses. If your groomer is on leave during your subscription period, Sploot will arrange for a replacement groomer and coordinate the changes with you beforehand. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Appointment arrival window: The Sploot groomer will arrive within a 15-minute slot based on your booking time. For example, if your booking time is 12:00 PM, the groomer should arrive between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM.

Plan inclusions: Each grooming subscription from Sploot includes the following as part of your package:

  • On-time, professionally dressed groomers.

  • High-quality grooming tools and pet-safe products.

  • Cleaning of the grooming area post-session.

  • Feedback and tips for your pet’s grooming needs.

Pausing sessions:

  • If you need to cancel or pause your grooming session due to vacations, emergencies, or any situation where your pet is unavailable, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Any session canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment slot will not be adjusted or redeemable for an extension.

  • To cancel or pause sessions, you can contact Sploot’s customer support or do so through the Sploot app.

Replacement groomer:

  • If your regular groomer is unavailable due to health issues or unavoidable circumstances, we will try to assign a replacement groomer familiar with your pet.

  • If a familiar groomer is unavailable, our second priority will be to send a new groomer for that session.

  • If no replacement is possible, you will be compensated with an additional session added to your subscription.

  • For customer-initiated requests to change a groomer, we require 3-5 business days to process the change.

Rescheduling:

  • For permanent changes to your pet’s grooming schedule, we will attempt to align your regular groomer with the new timing. If unavailable, a replacement groomer will be allocated.

  • Temporary changes to grooming timings will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact customer support for such requests.

Sploot Customer Support: Our customer support team is available all 7 days of the week from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For any queries, reach out to us through the Sploot app, and we’ll respond within 1 hour.

Subscription cancellation:

  • Cancellation within 3 days of the first grooming session: No cancellation fee will be charged.

  • Cancellation after 3 days: A platform fee of INR 200 will be charged, along with a pro-rata payment for services already rendered.

Experienced Groomer: All Sploot groomers have diverse experience in pet grooming, including handling, grooming techniques, hygiene standards, and safety measures. Only groomers who pass both practical and theoretical examinations are onboarded to the Sploot team.

Unprofessional behavior: If you experience an issue with a Sploot groomer, please report it through the Sploot app. Our team will share the feedback with the groomer and take immediate corrective action, if necessary.

Risks involved: While we take all precautions, there is always a risk of incidents such as accidental cuts, reactions to grooming products, or unexpected pet behavior during the session. In such cases, the Sploot team will work with you to resolve the issue.

  • Sploot remains liable for damages or medical aid required up to INR 3000, provided bills and proofs are submitted.

Disruptions due to unavoidable circumstances: We request your patience in circumstances like heavy rain, accidents, illness, curfews, or acts of God that may disrupt the scheduled sessions.

Pet readiness:

  • Ensure your pet is medically fit, vaccinated, and dewormed before the grooming session.

  • Notify us of any specific allergies or health conditions your pet may have.

Equipment and space:

  • Customers are required to provide a clean and safe space for the grooming session.

  • Access to water and electricity may be required for certain grooming services.

Multiple pets in one session:

  • If you wish to groom more than one pet in a single session, additional charges will apply:
